Matau Records Vinyl Tune of the Day “Step On” by The Happy Mondays Released in April 1990 on 7” single, Step On is a cover of "He's Gonna Step On You Again" co-written by Christos Demetriou and performed by John Kongos. The Happy Mondays version incorporates a short sample of three guitar notes from the original. Step On was a single from the Happy Mondays forth LP “Pills 'n' Thrills and Bellyaches” also released on vinyl in 1990. Garage Rock Band The Hinds is a Spanish rock band formed in 2011. Forced to change from their original name Deers in 2014 Hind is a female deer. Matau Records Vinyl Record of the day – "Hearts on Fire" by Cut Copy "Hearts on Fire" was the first single released from Cut Copy’s 2008 Vinyl LP In Ghost Colours. Tim Goldsworthy re-edited the song for the album. Cut Copy (or Cut/Copy) were formed in 2001 in Melbourne, Australia. Vinyl Record of the day – "Strange Brew" by Cream Cream released "Strange Brew" as a 7” single in May 1967. It was the first single from their vinyl album Disraeli Gears, and unusually features Eric Clapton on lead vocals rather than Jack Bruce. Disraeli Gears was Cream’s second studio album and was released in November 1967 and was a hit on both sides of the Atlantic as well as going to number 1 on the Australian music chart.
