Matau Records Tune of the Day 'Gamma Knife' by King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard
'Gamma Knife' is the first single from King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard's eight studio album 'Nonagon Infinity'
King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard are an Australian band formed in 2010. With Nonagon Infinity King Gizz have departed from their predominantly psychedelic rock style delivering more of a heavy metal feel. Each of King Gizzard's albums have followed a concept and Nonagon Infinity continues this with the album designed to be never ending. Each of the nine tracks is connected by musical motifs which flow seamlessly into each other with the last track linking straight back into the top of the opener like a sonic mobius strip. For example 'Gamma ' a riff from the next track on the LP 'People Vultures'
