Matau Records Vinyl Record of the Day - "Zombie Eaters" by Faith No More
"Zombie Eaters" is a song from Faith No More's third studio album "The Real Thing" released on vinyl by Slash records in 1989. Some people refer to it as Faith No More's second LP as "Introduce Yourself" (the bands 2nd LP) was basically a rework of their first LP.

The Real Thing is the first LP to feature Mick Patton after the band sacked Chuck Mosely, and features a much heavier sound. Mike Patton wrote the majority of the lyris for the LP, and many Faith No More fans hail this record as their greatest record.
Faith No More is an American rock band formed in 1981. Chuck Mosley the lead singer was fired in 1988 after the release of "Introduce Yourself" for his erratic behaviour including falling asleep on stage. He was replaced by Mike Patton who had previously been the lead singer for the band Mr. Bungle. Faith No More split in 1998 but reformed and began touring in 2009, they have released new songs in 2014 and a new album in planned for release in April 2015.
