This is Sydney-Melbourne, 8-piece Tropical / Exotica / Alt Rock band the Centroturists debut album. 3 previous singles ‘The Cray’, ‘Evening Star’ and ‘Tonton Macoute’ have been widely played across local radio. Part of the new Tiki / Exotica movement with a more alt/indie edge, Centroturists Take inspiration from early 80s post punk and theatrically inspired alternative bands like The Clash, Grace Jones, B52s, Nick Cave and the Birthday Party all whilst on holidays in the tropics and getting lost in the jungle.
