Cream released "Strange Brew" as a 7” single in May 1967. It was the first single from their vinyl album Disraeli Gears, and unusually features Eric Clapton on lead vocals rather than Jack Bruce.
Disraeli Gears was Cream’s second studio album and was released in November 1967 and was a hit on both sides of the Atlantic as well as going to number 1 on the Australian music chart.
